Survey Time!
Would you allow your significant other to have a roommate of the opposite sex?
Personally I wouldn't be comfortable with it. Although you may trust your partner, can you really trust their roommate? Unexpected things can happen and I wouldn't be willing to risk it.
hahahah I had two very attractive girl roommates for over a year, back when I was still dating my gf who is now my wife! So yes, it can work for some but not for all. And what's up with "would you allow" ??? Please!!! I say if you're not married there's no need to ask for permission. =P
Thank you all for the great points. Keep the thoughts flowing. This is getting good. Marv, you are right...more appropriate phrasing would be "How would you feel about your significant other having a roommate of the opposite sex?"

only if they're ugly!
It makes it easier if it was me.
Why not. Its all about trust.

iWhy resort to trust? Digital surveillance is so affordable these days.
lol @ Paul.
Sure, trust has got to exist. It takes two to tango, no matter what the circumstance is.
How would the longevity of your relationship play a role? If you've been together <1yr versus 3+years, would it matter more or less & why?
Asking for trouble. Men are only as faithful as their opportunities.
